Hannah, Eli, and I took a walk around the pond behind our house this afternoon. We were almost home, when I saw a smallish creature I'd never seen before. Hannah thought it was probably a beaver or a baby walrus (since it didn't have tusks). I had a hunch that it might be a muskrat. Wikipedia confirmed my suspicion, it WAS a muskrat. Who would have thought we'd have seen a muskrat in the middle of Evansville!
