We made the 12 hour drive back to Indiana yesterday. We woke up at 3am, and left Oklahoma at 4am. One hour into the trip, Hannah threw up, and we didn't know what to do. Should we turn around or keep going?? We decided to keep going. Thankfully, it was just a one time occurence. She had her pillow stuffed behind her head, which contorted her into a bad position. It appears that caused her to gag on mucous, and yack... Her stomach was empty, so it wasn't as bad as it sounds. By the time we reached Joplin, MO for breakfast she was feeling great!
There were no other incidents during this trip (unlike the trip to OKC where we missed hitting a deer by about 6 inches and left a significant amount of tread from our brand new tires on I-64). The kids were well behaved, and there were NO screaming fits! I'm quite impressed :) The kids were very happy to be home, though we will miss Momma and Papa.
