I took a picture of Leah sleeping in the Pack 'n' Play this afternoon. [You may be wondering why I bothered to take this picture. First you have to understand that Leah has NEVER slept in a crib. Second you need to know that Pete actually laughed when I got out the P 'n' P last month for Leah to nap in. She got to big to nap in the swing, so I gave it away. Napping on the couch was becoming hazardous since she's now mobile. So, it's amazing that she's sleeping in a 'crib'.]She typically takes two 20-30 minute naps a day... someone needs to explain to her that babies are supposed to nap MUCH longer than that. Yesterday afternoon she threw up all over the couch after she nursed. She didn't seem sick at all so we thought maybe she'd put some paper/fuzzies/who-knows-what in her mouth and gagged on it. Nope, she got sick two more times before we went to bed. She slept pretty fitfully throughout the night, and I think her tummy was bothering her. When she woke up this morning, she played in bed with Hannah and Elijah for a bit and then fell back to sleep. She "napped" for two and a half hours! She might have slept longer but Elijah started talking to her and woke her up... This afternoon she crashed unexpectedly and slept for an hour and a half. Pete came home at that point, and I think the excitement and commotion of Daddy being home woke her.
I'm hoping no one else gets sick. Hannah starts her summer school tomorrow, and she's SO excited to stay all day. I know we will miss her!!! Hopefully, Leah will be better and we can leave the house! It was a LONG Sunday since we missed church and Pete needed to go to the office to get some work done.
