Last weekend it was quite hot, so the kids and I went to Walmart and bought a wading pool. It was a big hit!
Elijah wanted to earn a dollar, so he attempted to clean the toy room (a BIG job, and definitely worth a dollar!!). However, he'd been up late 2 nights in a row because of the school play AND he played in the wading pool for an hour... this is what happend instead :)
These flowers are blooming in my backyard, but I don't know what they are. We have several bushes of them though... Anyone up for a "name that flower" game??
Day 3--Barcelona

I'm going to pepper the first portion of this with pictures that I took on
the Thursday when we were on the Bus Turistic. The forecast had been for
rain ...

They kind of look like our azalea (sp?) bushes. Ours are much smaller and all of the rain and wind killed our flowers. At least that is what I was told they were.
Looks like my azalea bushes, too. The ones at our old house were ridiculously hearty - nothing could kill them & I did nothing to nurture them. They returned every year. The ones at our new house have required a bit of care (and digging up the giant rocks under the construction "soil" so the roots could actually search for some nutrients helped) but even the one we were sure was going to die has rebounded & flowered this year. They're pretty popular out here. I'd rather have those big ones you have, um, I can't think of the name...
