When I realized that it was QUIET and everyone was entertaining themselves, I went to investigate with my camera in hand. This is what I found.
It looks like THIS outside...
This is what it looks like inside...

Indianapolis Children's Museum
We were greated by a giant, flying Curious George.
Elijah was very taken with the "All Aboard" exhibit.
Leah, Pete, and Elijah put on a dinosaur puppet show.
Leah enjoying being OUT of the stroller
Reflection of the Chihuly sculpture
Fireworks of Glass by Dale Chihuly
Hannah "drives" an Indy car.
Elijah takes his turn.
Hannah and Elijah really liked the water play area in Playscape
Leah LOVED the Babyscape area
Here are my future paleontologists.
We had a grand time at the world's largest children's museum. It really was quite large, and we didn't see everything there was to see. I really want to go back next June because they are hosting the Tutankhamun exibit. I've been waiting to see King Tut since I was Hannah's age!!
We spent the night at the IUPUI hotel downtown, and the kids had a "campout" on the floor. We ended up getting room service for dinner because we were too wiped out to find a restaurant. That was quite an experience!

Road Trip to OKC
We left town at 4:45 am, and by 5am the sky was already starting to get light! This picture was taken at 6:03 am... At least driving in daylight is a lot easier than driving in the dark.
We reached St Louis around 8am, just in time for rush hour traffic. (By the way this is my first attempt in a long time to take pictures from a moving vehicle... it's not as easy as you might think!!)
Leah, who was not alway THIS happy during the trip.
Elijah, doing his best to keep himself occupied.
Long legged Hannah :)
Pete wasn't terrible happy with the profile picture, but he was driving...
Oklahoma!!!
Sign for the Will Rogers Turnpike... I just love paying a hefty toll for a poorly maintained highway.
Seeing the Animal Planet truck was probably the highlight of the trek to OK.
Later, I'll post pictures of Momma's house... the pool, the 4th of July, Elijah's birthday party, etc.

The Tree Trimmers Came - June 26, 2008
I called some tree trimmers who were recommended to us by two different friends. I called them back in March and got an estimate from them. They said it would probably be about 6 weeks before they could get to us... Four months later they showed up after Pete suggested to the office manager that he might "vent" to every student and employee at the university he works at about their company. Well, it seems to have worked because the tree trimmers showed up the next day, lol.
They didn't finish the job, so they left their equipment overnight... we couldn't resist taking some pictures.
Here's the cherrypicker in all it's glory.
Pete pretends to be manly alongside the equipment.
Leah and me (yuck to the 10 year old glasses I've been wearing since getting a mild eye infection!!)
Hannah and Elijah, who was so taken with the "tractor" that he couldn't sit still for a picture.
Hannah with an almost-real-smile
Elijah!!
Okay, I admit it, I photoshopped Pete into the picture! But I think I did a pretty good job :)

Children's Museum of Evansville - June 6, 2008
The University of Evansville rented out the CMOE tonight for their faculty and staff... well, their kids anyway. We always have a fun time, but we prefer to go when it's free (you always get your money's worth that way!!). My first introduction to children's museums was the Long Island Children's Museum which is significantly bigger than ours. Ours is nice, but there's only enough to entertain my kids for an hour or two.
Anywho, on to the pictures!
GRRR!!!
Giant Lego Table
Pouring rice into a sand mill
Building a wall in a house
Learning how long intestines really are

I admit, I drew the beard and mustache on him :)
