Toga! Toga! Toga! - June 20, 2007

Yesterday was kind of a rough day. Elijah woke up at 3:30 am screaming for "Faffles!!!!" (Elijah-speak for waffles), and he woke Hannah up. Hannah decided she was hungry too. Since it's not any harder to put 2 waffles in the toaster than just one, I let her come eat as well. I think Elijah must be going through a growth spurt because it's been a while since I've had to get up in the middle of the night to feed him. Nights like those make me wish I was still nursing him!!!! We all went back to bed in my bed, but Elijah tossed and turned for an hour before getting back to sleep.
Pete needed to leave early for work, so I barely had time for a shower before he left... Hannah was complaining of a sore throat, and Elijah had a nasty cough. So, our plans of story time at the library were cancelled. Somehow, I just never got around to getting the kids dressed! I don't think that's ever happend before. When Pete came home at 4pm, Hannah was still in just her underwear and Elijah in a diaper...
After dinner, Hannah wanted me to put her blanket on her for clothes, so she got a toga. Elijah was so impressed he needed on too :)
This morning when I brought down the kids' clothes, they were both SO excited!! I suppose a day without clothes makes you appreciate them a bit more, lol!!!
